| Hart-T-Tree
Farms is a company owned and operated by John and Kathy Chefas,
Christmas tree growers and retailers. The company originated
in Hart, Michigan (where John still maintains a few acres of trees)
but moved it's main farming operation to the Blue Ridge Mountains
to grow Fraser Firs in the mid-1980's. The company headquarters
is in Grassy Creek, North Carolina which sits in the northwest corner
of the state on the Virginia border. |

| John
and Kathy have been married for 27 years and have three grown children.
They have partnered in the Christmas tree business for their entire
married life. The couple met in Chicago in the late 1970's and retailed
Christmas trees there until moving the retail operation to southeast
Florida in 1980. John's father retailed Christmas trees in Chicago
for over 57 years before his death in 2002. John's son, Steve,
is a third generation Christmas tree retailer. |

Farms retails its Christmas trees in Broward and Palm Beach Counties,
Florida. With over 40 years of retail experience, John is
an expert in this business. His attention to detail, knowledge
of this business and strong work ethic is unsurpassed. Kathy
joins him in helping to make the Hart-T-Tree Farms family a team. |
